The times are tough and more Americans need help with paying medical bills; especially when someone we love have cancer. It is hard to fathom what they have to go through but by being there for them, they have a better chance to beat cancer despite how bleak it may seem. For kids, at least 70% of the cancers are curable. There are some foundations that help people who are having trouble paying medical bills. It is possible to get free medical assistance or at least get some help on it.
If you do get excited about the word “grant,” there is an organization called “United Healthcare Children’s Foundation” which gives cash grants to the children’s families. A company called “Children’s Health Fund” help pay for medical bills which can save you lots of money just to have them help you cover all or most of the bill. Paul Simon, which he is a singer, partnered up with Irwin Redlener, who is a pediatrician, and decided to join together and help underserved children that are having problems with the medical bills.
Life Beyond Cancer Foundation is located in Woodlands, Texas and their mission is to educate, prevent, early detection, and to be able to survive from having cancer. People are having trouble paying their medical bills due to cancer treatments and medicine to take to recover from it. All of these foundations get funded by people and businesses that are willing to donate money to the people that needed it the most: low income earners and people who can’t afford to pay the medical bills.
