Cancer is an ugly word because it is one of the leading causes of death since it killed many people each year. There are at least 12 different types of cancer by the body system. The 12 types of body system is blood cancer, bone cancer, brain cancer, breast cancer, digestive/gastrointestinal cancer, endocrine cancer, eye cancer, genitourinary cancers, gynecologic cancers, neck and head cancers, respiratory cancers, and skin cancers. However, skin cancer is the most common type among men, women, and more young people since there are some that are “sun worshippers” in order to get a tan. At least over one million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed each year.

The common types of cancer is the bladder cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, endometrial cancer, kidney cancer (renal cell), leukemia, lung cancer, melanoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, and thyroid cancer.

The bad news about cancer is that it affects every organ of the body despite where it originated from. For instance, if there is cervical cancer that is spread to the lung, it is not called lung cancer. It is still called cervical cancer.

The first one is blood cancer. There are four types which is leukemia, lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, and Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia. Leukemia or lymphomas are the two cancers that are formed when the red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets become cancerous.

Bone cancer affects primarily on children and teens even though it also affects adults. It is a rare form of cancer. There are different types of bone cancer but the two most common types are Ewing’s sarcoma and osteosarcoma.
